My knee didn't feel right so I'm catching a ride today.

1st day...on the road

It's 6:15am and we'll be in the road in just a few minutes...more later.

This is Glenwood

Somehow this sums up Glenwood for me: tours by tractor. Iowa is great. Everyone is friendly, interested in what we're doing, and, though my head is getting swelled, pleased to have someone from Hawaii here.

The first day, though not a riding day is over. I'm in my tent, earplugs in, and ready for some serious sleep.

Methodist Church Lady Pie

This is my first piece of pie on the road. It's raspberry and was recommended by the young lady at the door. It's delicious.

Dipping in Missouri River Water

The flooding has made it impossible to dip in the river so this is how it is done this year...thanks to to the Glenwood High School Runners Club. At least that's what I recall.
